So wouldn’t the logical thing have been to push off his signings until February if that were the case? Jumping into Bama’s early signing has nothing to do with changes at LSU and kif is trying to make excuses.
Just be honest and own your decision. I can’t fault a kid for just saying Bama is a better opportunity instead of trying to talk out of both sides of their mouth.

A lot of players are pressured to sign early so they get a spot, especially at top schools. It's not like him going to Alabama is a bad decision for him...why not lock yourself into something you're certain will benefit you?
Bama has yet to produce a solid NFL WR that wasn't elite ranked. Him and Anderson are going to be at a complete log jam over there, and at least 1 will be transferring soon. LSU is about to produce two more NFL level WRs in short order in Malik Nabers and Jack Bech.
Dude can say what he wants, he's just a Bama groupie.

I don't buy that shite. It was a cop out. If he was truly considering LSU and he was uncertain about the coaching situation...why not just wait and see what LSU does (who they hire)? He has 2 months to figure it out.
