Notre Dame WILL be in the playoffs...with their new HC

Baylor is taking care of business as we speak. A Cowboys loss will put the Irish at #5 in the rankings.
All the Irish will need is:
An Alabama loss, convincingly.
or
A Cincinnati loss.
At least one of the two will happen by the end of the afternoon

And then people will use that to somehow poke fun at LSU fans even though they hired the coach who even got them in that position

ESPN will pump up a black head coach in the playoffs for sure. Its on par for them

Sure, but they'd beat most teams in the 4. They deserve it if they get the #1 seed. I hope it's not about what people think would happen.

I would think Baylor is on point to jump ND right now and make the playoff. They are beating the piss out of the #5 team and will have a big 12 title to go with it

Or a Michigan loss. It was never as far fetched for them to get in as a lot of LSU fans made it seem when they were lookokg to make it look less bad that BK left a possible playoff team.

I hope it does happen. That way everyone can see why Brian Kelly needed to leave—because ND cannot win a NC. What they’ll spin it as, ironically, is that BK leaving was the reason they lost. Good luck with those mental gymnastics however it’s the national media for god’s sake—this what they do.

It’s not that it was far fetched it’s just that they have no chance of winning once they get in.
