I would love to learn the etymology of that phrase. I've actually heard similar phrases in Cajun French, but nothing with that particular spelling.

If I was Mizzou and the newly formed big 12 agreement with equal tv money etc. I'd stay in the big 12. They would become an afterthought in the sec. They are up there with okie state as the third best program in the conference once A&M leaves. In the SEC they are way in the back of the line.

Hell they'd easily compete for the Big 12 North if they go back to North/South once they get 12 teams. Hell they better stay instead of going to the SEC. K-state is their only competition if they go back to divisions

I guess Bama and Saban got what they wanted...??

How come Tennessee gets absolutely zero blame for holding up Missouri? They are even more against Mizzou screwing up their only truly historical rival than Alabama is (although Alabama also very much wants to keep the UT game). Alabama would still have its biggest rivalry (Auburn), but Tennessee would lose their one true cherished rival (Alabama).

I'll ask again. Why is it more important to please the brand new member at the expense of AT LEAST 2 charter members? Missouri is the party crasher here. They should be the ones to accomodate the rest of the league, not the other way around.

I guess I missed the announcement where Mizzou was insisting on anything. What accomodation is Missouri demanding?

That may be an improper assumption on my part. The assumption being that Missouri has a standing offer to join the SEC East but they're not sure they'll accept having to join the East instead of the West. Again, I could be totally wrong on that assumption.

If they have no problem with joining the SEC East, then I think the odds of Mizzou to the SEC actually finally happening goes up dramatically.

Everything I hear is "Bama against it, Auburn for it" or something like that. It's probably just a more appealing story if it's a Bama/Auburn situation. I actually haven't heard anyone say UT was against Missouri joining, I just assume that's the way.
