This is a bullshite argument. Texas has no real academic standards for blue chip athletes. The answer to all of their "academics" arguments can be refuted with two words "Vince Young". Mr. 3 on the wonderlic.

Yeah if they were serious about academics they would have left the Big 12 long ago and the standards would be along the lines of a Notre Dame. They didn't leave until their hand was forced and they have yet to change those standards. It's typical arrogance on the part of that school.
