Done deals...

NU to the Big 10(12).
CU to Pac 10(11).
Boise to Mountain West.

Possibilities...

UT to Pac 10(11) or Big 10(12) or the SEC
OU to Pac 10(11) or SEC
TAMU to Pac 10(11) or SEC
OSU to Pac 10(11) or ?
Missouri to Pac 10(11)?
KU to Pac 10(11)?
Utah to Pac 10(11)?

sources are pretty confident that TAMU is coming to the SEC.

The SEC has basically said they won't expand in states they're already in, so FSU, GA Tech, Clemson, and Miami are out.

Will the SEC try to pursue other ACC schools?

I think UNC, Duke, UVa, and Va Tech would be good picks. Their athletic programs and academics are better than some existing SEC programs.

I've seen NC State thrown around a lot. I'm not really sure why we would want them over NC other than they don't think NC would ever come to the SEC.

I definitely agree that it will be harder to get UVa and Duke over the other two.. But I don't think Va Tech or UNC will leave without their counterparts. They're attached at the hip

IF (big if) Mike Slive can convince either of these states to join (particularly Carolina) it will be a huge success on his part. Duke in particular - even though this is a football driven expansion, Duke and UNC will add academic success as well as more to our basketball powerhouse (Kentucky vs Duke? Awesome. Don't forget Duke won the Championship this year) and they'll be the first lacrosse teams in the SEC (again, don't forget Duke won the Championship this year [beating UNC in the semis])

almost no way in hell IMO

MU ends up in the remnants of the big 12, in the big 10, or in the MW probably

This is the popular thing to say, and it is what everybody said about UT & TAMU. We see how that looks to be working out.

utah stays in the Mountain West. with six teams possibly leaving the big 12, MWC could get an automatic bid the the BCS. and with boise, tcu, byu, and utah, i don't see why they shouldn't get an automatic bid. their top 4 is way better than the BIGEAST top4.

@HotDamn In that case I hope you're right. I'd love to see those teams added to the SEC.
