Alabama 2-1-0
Arkansas 3-2-0
Auburn 1-0-0
Florida 1-0-0
Georgia 0-1-0
Kentucky 0-2-0
LSU 1-0-0
Mississippi State 2-0-0
Ole Miss 5-1-0
South Carolina 2-0-0
Tennessee 0-0-0
Vanderbilt 0-1-1

Total 17-8-1

TV is the reason boise state left the WAC for the MWC. MWC has their own tv network and the WAC doesn't. more tv exposure pulls recruits and your brand of football gets seen by more people nationally and by pollsters. which what they need if they want to be in the MNC game. colorado left the BIG 12 because of tv. BIG 12 is dominated by OU and UT. the only way anyone else gets on TV is when they are getting their asses handed to them by OU and UT

you haven't explained how we have national appeal when we don't have many, if any, true national programs

the frick are you talking about?

the big12 north is fricking horrible. no quality. almost no talent.

we are the SEC. we are elite. we should only expand with elite programs or programs that will aid our conference in some way

being a mediocre-shite program in an infertile recruiting region with a university that doesn't support its program doesn't add anything

i understood the op perfectly clear. but as your title says TV is way overplayed. it's not overplayed. as i said with boise, same applies to nebraska. they will be on TV everyweek on the BIG 10 network. it may not be live and may be a replay during the week. TV, being seen by recruits, and $$$$$ are the big players here.
