If the Big 12 is staying together, then what is Baylor's problem? Wasn't that their problem with signing, the fact that they didn't want to be sitting at the dance all by themselves? So now that it looks as if Texas, and OU are staying what is it now? Do they need a nap first? Someone to apply some butt paste, pat them on their fanny and reassure them that everything is going to be okay? What's the deal?

Until the schools actually sign an agreement to stay together, this is not a certainty.

I hear ya, but in light of the PAC recently slamming the door shut, where would they go?

OU, OSU and MO could go SEC and TX go independent. I think the only thing keeping MO in this right now is their desire for the B1G, but they might give up on that and jump to the SEC now. While they are no where near key as TX and OU, it will be interesting to see if the Big 12 can survive another defection.

IMO, there will be an announcement sometime next week that the SEC has accepted TexasA&M with no conditions.

Agree on next week. I think they are contemplating maximizing the exposure at this point.

If somehow Arky and A&M were to both win this weekend, next week would be an optimal time with that showdown looming.

I think they are waiting to see what the financial bottom line of this new Big XII-II-I agreement is.

I think that Baylor still thinks that aTm leavign will cost them money in the long run due to lost tv and bowl revenues, so they may wait and hold that threat of a suit to recoup potential losses until they see how this new agreement works out.

That would make one hell of a halftime announcement.

Think about it this way... Why in the hell would any school sign a waiver when it is an unprecedented step that no other conference has ever asked for? You never give up those rights without some form compensation.

As far as the conditional/full acceptance, I still think it hinges on the 14th team. Once that is taken care of, then it should happen.

Something else to think about is that if Missouri joins the SEC, they would have to receive a waiver as well and more than likely no school at that point would do so.

Just waiting for all of the existing Big-12 schools to sign the new 5-6 year blood pact. Mizzou appears to be the only holdout at this point.

Why does Baylor have the problem? Why do people act like signing a waiver like this is normal? In the history of college football, no school has ever been asked to sign a waiver like this before because a conference mate is leaving.

Dude, seriously...you really need to quit posting. If it's not "well, duh, everybody in the Big 12 voted for it" then it's "we've done nothing wrong" bullshite. READ MY MUTHAHfrickIN LIPS! You and your longhorns are a cancer. Everyone in the country knows this now. One would think that with the academics everyone at UT brags about, you would realize this, yet you post as if you are dumber than dirt. Take Bevo's horn, shove it up your arse and move on.
