At least you escaped the: Big 12-2-1+1-1(+ maybe 1 or 3 if anyone can escape the Big East)

From what I have read the WVU 27 month situation needs to be worked out before we know when Mizzou will actually start playing.

As long as Mizzou gave sufficient notice to leave by July 31, 2012 per Big 12 bylaws, I don't see how the Big 12 can stop them based on WVU's issues with the Big East.

They cant stop them, but lawsuits from teams trying to replace them on the schedule and lost TV revenue could hold them up.

I cannot wait to spank that arse in Columbia. Payback for the 1978 Liberty Bowl is going to be hell.

If only it were just Baylor. One of the first things they were rumored to be told by the Big 12 was that every school that had to replace them on their schedule might sue them for lost revenue.

I'm hoping this announcement means they have it all worked out and the lawsuits are off the table now.

Thanks for all the welcomes and as an MU fan I can say it's GREAT to be joining the SEC!!! GO Mizzou!!!! GO SEC!!!!!

Welcome Mizzou! I hope that you're either in the West or our permanent rival. Considering that we had to go through the same bullshite at the same time, I see us as a rivalry waiting to happen.

Mizzou actually owns a winning record against Alabama. Can't wait to change that.

In fact Mizzou has a winning record against Bama, Auburn, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Florida, Mississippi State, South Carolina, and Vandy.

Only Georgia and Kentucky plus TAMU has a winning record against Mizzou. Haven't played Tennessee yet.
