Atlanta only. N.O. gets Sugar Bowl.

Atlanta doesn't host a bowl game with a team from the SEC?

I was already typing that when you posted. What I meant was if Birmingham was too cold, there's no way that St. Louis OS Nashville would be good venues.

I do not see it, the ideal is that it be centrally located.... Altanta is the perfect place for it...

this is exactly what the SEC admins are afraid of. They don't want to lose the venue to the ACC.

They can't find an alternate location to rotate the ACC championship with the new ACC footprint going from Nova Scotia to Havana?

If being centrally located was the only criteria, the NC game and Superbowl would be played in the Midwest EVERY year.

Yeah only 97 Auburn, 04 Tennessee, 05 LSU, and 10 USC have played in it after making the SECCG

Atlanta no longer centrally located once you add A&M and Mizzou. New Orleans or Nashville make just as much sense now.

Atlanta has everything necessary, and as soon as the SEC moves out for even a year the ACC will jump on the chance to be annual there.

great point. those acc bastards need to be kept down. atlanta is ours. we are the sec, they like that ocean shite and let yankees in indiscriminately.

Rather New Orleans, Houston, Atlanta and St. Louis. Piss off the Big 12 with the Houston game for A&M.

notice how only the awburn fans think its centrally located?

i think if we are expanding our conference footprint into tx, we should be rotating the title game there, too. houston/dallas and atlanta, every other year.

Jerry World is 100 times nicer than the Georgia Dome.

ATL is the best place by far. Nashville is way too cold. NO, Dallas, and STL are too far out of the way.

Contract runs through 2017, and with new HOF opening, they game will not move, besides by then there will be 16 teams and ATL will still make the most sense. At most go they might try Dallas.... But you know that it is going to be locked up by big 12, because they are going to have to get to 12 to compete. And Jj will want them. NO is an awfull idea, great for SB games because of the holiday and people spending week there, not so much fire a 3-4 day weekend like the seccg.

Dallas is too far to the West. A&M shouldn't get the championship in their own state when they're the newbie. New Orleans is a much better alternative, particularly with the SuperDome right near the Quarter and all the hotels. Nashville is another good city. Would be great to rotate the game. I live in the Atlanta area and I'd rather go to the game in New Orleans!

If both Missouri and A&M come into the conference, the center of the conference will move even farther west. Nashville makes as much sense as Atlanta as does New Orleans. Georgia Dome soon won't even be home of the Falcons and will likely go into decline. Time to start the rotation. Also the East teams seem to be able to gobble up corporate tickets and have more of a presence at the championship game. I live in Atlanta, I've seen it time and again. Time to make this a more even venue.
