Nope. Gonna be aTm. Mizzou relies on Texas recruiting too much. It would be a death wish to have a geographically Western team playing East opponents without a game in Texas every other year. Mizzou couldn't compete with total isolation from their recruiting grounds.

we had the pay the price when we broke away from the SWC to come to the SEC, they can too. It would be bullshite if Slive didn't allow our fans to have a relatively short road trip every other year, especially considering how isolated we already are compared to most teams in our division.

Ya think maybe Mizzou could schedule a couple of out of conference Texas teams?

9-game conference schedule.

I was right, per usual.

Furthermore, there's plenty of talent in Florida, Georgia, and SC to go around.

Not anymore.. Little Rock is now 350 miles away from 7 SEC campuses.

Compared to Mizzou no question.

Mizzou MUST have Texas to recruit.

They would do well to setup a home and away with someone like SMU for a game in Texas in years that we play them in Columbia.

Deloss won't allow any of Bevo and his Bitches to play Mizzou or A&M, so the pickings are slim for Mizzou. Rumor has it that he has gone as far as telling Rice that they are off of the Whorns out of conference football schedule if they schedule us in any sport.

I heard that Carolina will replace Florida as LSU's permanent opponent from the East.

Daily Gamecock artilce quoting USC pres

USC's president, who isn't the sole of discretion, apparently, says that the Carolina will remain paired with Arkansas...and, oh, by the way, the SEC will be playing NINE confernce games next year.

I heard there will be reorganization of permanent opponents:

To include:

Ark vs Mizzou
A&M vs Florida
LSU vs USCe

I loved his comment "there is about half a line on how to exit the SEC, and we haven't lost anyone yet!"

Yeah the only people that I've been hearing SC-LSU as paired up are from LSU fans hoping to get UF dropped. I was thinking either we were going to keep Arky and if not maybe get paired up with MSU since they were are other permanent rival back when there were 2.
