WVU fans, since you are now joining a "big boy" conference will this be the last year you can buy beer in the stadium? I guess you'll have to start putting whiskey bags in your girlfriends bras like the rest of us now.

Chuck C tweeted that no Big 12 bylaw prohibits it,and Colorado did it until 2007.

How many SEC stadiums sell booze?

got it.....well ours doesn't sell it and never has, so no adjustment.

be careful of College Station cops though....PIs and MIPs galore. I don't know if anywhere else in Texas has as pro-active of a police force when it comes to alcohol tickets.

It's not officially sold in the suites. It's all ordered prior to the game.

In Alex Box there is a full bar in the club area but you cannot take it out to the seating area.

Not saying Tulane will be in the B12 but if they are you think they are going to stop selling beer at the Dome or on campus? They sell beer at Tennis and hold Bowling matches at bar basically.

PIs? Haven't seen that.

By the way, PI stands for public intoxication. Not against the law in Louisiana. Reason #227 I'm proud to be a Cajun

ETA: maybe I'm just old but I haven't noticed cops out giving tickets at tailgates before. And its been a while at Northgate since you can't drink outside anymore

You do know this is the same CSPD that arrested an A&M player a couple of years ago because he hadn't updated the vaccination tags on his dog. I kid you not.

CSPD has serious issues. It's full of guys not smart enough to get into A&M so they take it out on the students or anyone who looks young enough to be a student.

I had a student worker who was ticketed for rolling through a stop sign making a right turn... on his bicycle. They'll ticket for jaywalking, parking your car facing the wrong direction, pretty much anything.

I got a speeding ticket once when some ice pellets were falling. Under the comments section on the ticket, the stupid bastard wrote "SLEAT." That dumbass couldn't even spell sleet.

That's when I moved to Bryan.

Don't get me wrong. I hate CSPD. Three MIPs will cause that though

I thought they had gotten better. Sad to see they haven't.

And NEVER cut through campus at 2AM to avoid Texas Ave. That's where they're hiding behind the bushes at the golf course.

This was the first year you could buy booze in the stadium, sneaking booze in is nothing new for wvu fans and the no selling beer b/c of conference by laws is a myth anyway

Which brings about another question.....besides G-ville (apparently)..which SEC towns' cops have the worst cases of little man syndrome?

In Texas, Austin and Lubbock were always MUCH more lax than CS.

Just being silly, he asked if this was the last call for alcohol for WVU fans. I threw that in there because of our history of being a party school, we never stop drinking lol, get it?

The Big 12 doesn't allow beer sales so obviously the beer sales inside the stadium will come to an end.

Wrong they sell drinks in the stadium club in fact during the Florida game they had waitresses taking drinks orders and delivering to your seat
