When all this talk about him getting canned started, and Pinkel stepping down, that is exactly what I thought. Mizzou would love him. He's a player's coach that would consistently get 8-10 wins a season there, and that's all Mizzou seems to really care about.

He would be a Homerun hire for Mizzou. Best part is Mizzou comes to Baton Rouge next year as well.

He would be a great hire for Missouri. Les is a top 5 coach and I think they will regret their decision unless they have a deal cut with Saban to come back to Baton Rouge. I remember when we got rid of Gene Stallings and went through shite for the next 15 years. This is about to be a huge mistake.

When other SEC teams are telling you to keep your coach, you know its time for a change.
ps: i remember people saying the same about Florida when they fired Zook and again when they fired Muschamp. Florida is the one school i can name that is proactive about changing coaches before things hit bottom and it has served them well.

I thought Stallings retired on his own? If Bama fired him, then yes, that was very stupid.
