And would he be successful? I feel this would be a slam dunk given his ties to Texas recruiting and innovative offense. I'd be fine with us breaking the bank to get him...

I seriously doubt he ever leaves the state of Texas to take a job.

No and honestly you don't want him. Classic small school system guy. He's older than you think as well.

It would be a bad move for both parties. He's going to have the stadium named after him in Waco.

Better chance at Jimbo. Briles won't leave.

I don't see how it would be easier to lure Jimbo away from FSU.. FSU has much deeper pockets and a stronger commitment to their football program.

His age would concern me.

Probably couldn't get either one. But of the two, Briles I think would be harder.

Than LSU? I guess you didn't know the assistant money pool at LSU is almost twice that of FSU. Also our facilities are top 5 in the country.

I couldn't bear watching us turned into some Big 12 finesse no defense team that gives up 50 a game.

Briles is a win at all cost guy. He has very few allies in coaching. Can't argue the results, but he's at Baylor for a reason. Big name schools won't touch him because they have too much to lose. For Baylor, they had nothing to lose.

Briles is 1-3 vs Aggy.

I think y'all should hire him!
