He obviously dicked LSU for a raise for his client-so he did his job. But you have to think that eventually someone is going to say "nope- don't believe you" and move to someone else.

This is the same guy who let Saban to Texas rumors fly for a week so that Saban could get another gaudy raise. Sexton is the best in the business and literally played Alleva like a fiddle.

What did Sexton get out of it? No news that Jimbo is getting a raise, so what did Sexton get out of this deal?
Now that there is no LSU job for Sexton to hold over FSU's head as leverage, has LSU played their cards better than some think? Sounds to me like Sexton did a lot of work this week, but his client didn't get a raise.
