Why the rush to judgement?

If neither Jimbo nor Herman want the job, and O is lined up to take it, then you have O on the hook. Why the rush to name him permanent head coach?

If a search is required to uncover a more qualified coach than O, then SEARCH. Are we really going to talk to two guys and say, "well, no one wants the job. I guess we hire O?"

When a negotiation is going badly, walk away from it. Take the time to find out who is ready for the challenge at LSU, and who wants to work with the deep resources of LSU.

No one wants to coach this team? bullshite. Find that guy. Take the time to find him. We as fans might not like it, but that's the thing to do if options A and B don't want to come here.
