I hope you're talking about becoming our new oc and not a HC. Because that's the only thing he's proven to be good at.

I would normally say "no way in hell should Kiffen get the LSU job".... But as I see it now, LSU is going to take a beating from all of the college football talking heads if this goes down, so sliding Kiffen in wouldn't be such a big issue.
I think it's interesting that Les gets made fun of, called a buffoon coach, and predict LSU's demise regularly BECAUSE of Les.... But now it will be a 180 degree turn from that to " LSU is such a bad place" because they didn't accept .500 records in the SEC.
Reminds me of the sudden change of mind about LF7 made by all the media outlets. Went from basically creaming on themselves to get the talking points out there on LF needing to sit out next year, and Miles overuse of LF, to after he loses the Heisman ,*crickets* about Derrick Henry needing to sit out or have his workload lessened. No mention of the unnecessary last carries of his 38 carry night.
Just frustrating. Frock all of you.

I'm trying to think who would be a worse hire for LSU than Lane Kiffin. Maybe Bobby Petrino? Kliff Kingsbury would be awful, but at least the ladies in the fan base would be happy for a while.

Didn't say it is a good idea.... Just saying that LSU is already screwed because the media is going to demonize LSU using what are most likely bogus "sources" as something to plaster all over the networks.
They are going to change their talking points on Les to do it, and no matter what happens, they will piss on this hiring process and new coach.
It will hurt the process, and the new coach. This is where actually hiring one of those three would just be an afterthought, and won't hurt LSU anymore than what's going on.
Hell, Lane is getting respect in the media while at Alabama. It doesn't matter who we get, they will be demonized and a smear campaign will happen concerning their record.
