Why doesn't SC go after Mark Richt?

I don't understand them not going after Richt. Maybe they will.

It would be smart to grab him not only is he a great coach, but he would have some many connections for Georgia recruits.

How close is he to retiring? That's SC's primary criterion in selecting a coach.

He would never do that. If richt goes anywhere, it's Maryland or UVA. He's done with the SEC.

Apparently five schools have contacted Richt, Maryland is one, we know.
I'd venture to guess Mizzou and USC were two of the others.

Virginia is a fool if they have not called him. If I was SC I would hire him.

I would offer him whatever he asked for if I was USCe.
