Why did Tom Herman pull his name from consideration for USCe?

People said he interviewed for LSU. Did LSU frick him out of that SEC job?

Don't think he ever interviewed for the job, if he did LSU made a mistake by not hiring him

His contract at Houston is 1.5m, he has a 3m offer on the table but hasn't signed

Houston aggressively going to lock him up at least for a bit is really smart. I like him as a coach. Will be interesting to see what happens next year when LSU finishes 3rd in the west again next season.

USCe isn't exactly the biggest name that'll come calling for Herman.
