It doesn't really matter. Aranda's great but everybody had him pegged at landing a HC job next year so basically if he takes the money to be with his roomie at UT we're just losing out on one year. Besides just because they were roommates in college doesn't mean their bros. I f'n hated my 1st roommate in at LSU.

Rebuilding a dynasty at a top program? I thought everyone here thought that LSU was a top program. Seriously I love LSU but it is just outside the top ten in my book. There are so many places with a real history like ND, USC, Mich, OSU, Bama, TX, OK, Nebraska. LSU would be in the next tier with Tennessee, FL, GA etc.

FWIW I don't think Aranda leaves if he is really gunning for a HC job after next year. He's not going to relocate and Tx isn't going to hire him just for a year. They're going to want some stability.

I'm sure Aranda must feel like Fredo now though after he was passed over for his D-Line coach. I'm sure he was cool with it during the season since O had the interim experience but now that he is the real HC, Aranda must be pissed.

I think Alleva is going to have to pay Aranda HC money to keep him happy but his ego must be crushed.
