When Alleva inevitability fricks this HC hire up? My vote is for someone with at least two testicles. Thoughts?

If only he was in charge of this hire. With the program where it is right now i bet he would've knocked it out of the park.

Scott Woodward. Baton Rouge native and LSU alumnus. Texas A&M hired him away from Washington last offseason. He killed it up in Seattle (hiring Chris Peterson, basketball conference champs, seven national championships in other sports, fundraising to build a new stadium). Was also the Director of External Affairs at LSU under Emmert.

Why not hire a local guy who loves Louisiana and talks Cajun? Coach O's good buddy Bobby Hebert would be perfect. Together they could completely and totally destroy all that's left of a top five football powerhouse. But boy, won't the BBQ's be fun!

I'll classify this post as "sometimes you gotta laugh to keep from crying."

I'd have to think Woodward and Herb Vincent would be logical choices for next LSU AD.

I don't think he leaves A&M that fast, unfortunately.

Say what you want about alleva, I'm not disappointed in how he handled anything so far this year.

If we don't get Jimbo, and Herman is off the table, then im ok with Oregeron.

Why? What are his skins on his wall that shows he deserves a top 5-10 job?

Show me to Power 5 program that he has had previous success at.

no, ok, then show me the lesser program he has built up into a winner that gives you an idea of his potential.

still no, ok, then show we where he has been a kickass coordinator on the rise and looking to move up.

He is none of those things. He is a career DL coach (i mean seriously, in over 30 years of coaching he can't move up past coaching just the DL and no one sees a problem with that??) who failed miserably the one time someone was stupid enough trust him to run their program.

I have yet to see anyone give a legitimate reason that he deserves this job, i am generally curious is anyone has one.

You fire F. King also then get Scoot Woodward from A&M as chancellor and let him hire a new AD

Well you can be OK with it, but it doesn't mean he did a good job with the hire.

Think about it this way, you just fired your winning coach and paid him $9mil to leave. Then you don't have anyone lined up to replace him and your A and B options turn you down so you settle for C. Combine that with his basketball hire and he is a pretty shitty AD.

Leslie Edwin Miles. I bet that would excite the "Coach O for HC" group.
