Would walk on glass to take that role. Now more than ever.

Feels like this might be the caliber of job that Matt Campbell has been holding out for. He had a nice bounceback season; 7-5 at Iowa State is like going 10-2 or 11-1 at Michigan. This seems like the right time for him to make a move and Michigan would be really dumb to not at least gauge his interest.

Why would he leave when he has it easy at Michigan?

Because he might be getting a show cause.
He might be fed up with the Mickey Mouse BS

he wants to win a superbowl or 2. i've known from the moment he was at the press conference that JH would probably go back to the NFL. if the 49ers woulda beat baltimore, then maybe he'd be at UM forever. but since he lost, and it was to his brother, he's always had the itch to get back to the NFL. recruits in 2021 have told insiders this directly

if UM wins the whole thing this year, i'll be ok with it

Well, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that.
