Gus lives rent-free in every Bama fan's head the same way Saban lives rent-free in a lot of LSU fan's heads.

Gus is going to Texas, signed sealed and soon to be delivered.

I hope it's a college coach. Look what we have accomplished with a highschool coach. You guys are so fricked.

Good to see you're still handling your team losing a football game so poorly.

anti, I suggest you ask this man:
In the end, it doesn't matter if Gustav goes. He's just the latest in a long line of HC's who have seen their careers hit their peaks on the Plains. He's the fifth in a row - and sixth out of seven since 1952 - to lead an AU team to a top 4 finish in the final AP poll.
No other SEC school can make that claim. I'm sure his successor will do just as well.

Oh Freep...you walked right into this. Hit their peak maybe...and then Tater Tot, Coach Fingers and Chizik hit something else ROCK BOTTOM.
If Gus is smart he will leave before you all tar and feather him like you have the others.

Maybe as soon as this weekend...

You have been hanging with Frosty too long Freep...I was not the one doing the bragging about coaches peaking......YOU WERE.
And I pointed out what a load of crap you posted. Another failed deflection. You never learn.

I posted nothing but truth.
Save for Barfield, every AU HC in the last six decades has had managed to finish in the AP final top 4.
Unfortunately, several have failed to sustain that success. When they underachieve, they are dismissed. Do you disagree with that strategy?
Meanwhile, your favored school has had HCs who, immediately after having had their most successful seasons in T-town, leave for Kentucky, TAMU, and the worst franchise in the history of the NFL.
And yet you cling desperately to the faint hope that Gus will act like one of your runaway HCs instead of following the historical precedent of remaining at AU until we decide it's time for him to go.
Feel free to dispute any of the above, I know you'll pretend otherwise, but you have no historical precedents on your side.

SI reporting Malzahn is the favorite. Now in my opinion the Browns are a train wreck. I'd say no.
Gus could, however be striking while the iron is hot.
His stock is very high and he could be tempted to cash in.
As far as YOU go Freep, you lost cred and relevance when you skittered back into the baseboards like the cockroaches you associated with on the old board.
