Instead of paying big bucks for Herman why not pay for Applewhite as OC? Thats if LSU goes 8-0 or 7-1 down the stretch

This was exactly why I brought this point up. If O can right the ship, win some games, and look good doing it. Then why not use that money to hire any OC in America. A lot easier task to pull off than getting the head coach everyone wants. O can be the CEO type coach Les refused to be.

et it play out. If O unites the team and wins he has to be given a fair shot. Pair him with a top notch OC and I think we'll like the results. You'll have to admit the changes he's made in 3 days have all been great.

We've seen the "CEO" coach tried. It doesn't.fricking.work.

IMO, O is the safest pick bc of his recruiting prowess. We keep O then the talent level will remain at a top tier level. My main concern would be I'm not sure if he can manage the program (mainly keeping the troops in line on and off the field) as well as Miles did. I feel like he can but he is somewhat unproven. Plus I feel like this is O's dream job fwiw.

If O can hire quality coordinators then I feel he can be very effective as a HC. Miles stubbornness did him in. It seems O is more open to change.

What would make O win here and not at Ole Miss? It's not like it's impossible to win at Ole miss, see the guys who followed him.

Really you should look at his most recent accomplishments instead of just at mistakes made in the past. He should currently be the head coach at USC. LSU lucked up that they screwed him over.

Idk his biggest issue was that It took him 3 years to win 10 games.
