That's what happens when you stop winning.

Don't think that would be a factor, he has been 33-8 since 1/9 and that's with taking over the UW program after 2013.

Yeah, it actually is just as good as opponents as most of these other coaching candidates that are being suggested.

You know he is 13-12 in the Pac? And he has only beat 1 of the 4 teams you listed

The guy has already proved he can coach talent. He is turning around that program that Sarkisian left in a mess. Just now getting his guys in place. He is also younger than most of these other guys being mentioned. I think we need someone with energy.

Petersen was the flavor of the month sort of like Dabo is now. That's the problem about going after a coach that is hot now instead of someone who can grow into the job. You have to pay top dollar, and he might have already peaked. It's a crap shoot.

Has any Boise coach succeeded at his next job?

Sark won 9 games including a bowl game his last year. Huskies have to upset state rival to win 6 games this year.

Its a crap shoot with hiring almost any coach. One thing I don't like is the idea of hiring guys that are 60 and older. How much desire do they still have to do it, and are they just trying to get that last big payday?
