What are the odds we've already made a deal with our man?

Jimbo would by far be my prime target. But what do you think the odds are that its already a done deal? And how quickly will they expect results? I say 2016. Monster class coming in.

i'm sure alleva has used the back channels to reach out to jimbo. hope he handles this better than when he actually thought les would go to arkansas.

Alleva better have Jimbo or an established coach locked up if we're doing this. Especially with this upcoming recruiting class

Whoever comes in will have instant success. Roster is loaded right now, we just need a shot in the arm of the program. That's part of LSUs appeal to the top options out there, it's not a rebuild

Whoever it is will really earn his keep after next year to see if he can keep the talent in as well as Miles has and utilize the talent the way the fanbase/boosters want it to be.

IF he has someone locked up, and thats a big IF, I don't think it would be Jimbo. You'd hear soooo much more chatter if it was Jimbo.

Agreed. The skill positions are going to be unreal next year.

On the contrary, the louder the rumors are for Jimbo, the more likely it would be that he's using LSU for leverage for a pay bump from FSU

But if it's hush hush, it's more likely that he's taking it seriously and is trying to keep things calm at FSU while he decides what he wants to do

Part of an ad's job is to have a short list. In the modern world that is college football, things can change over night. Meyers, Tressel, Patrino, Penn St, Sark, ect.....
There is always a short list, that is always changing. Agents like Sexton make sure of this. That's why raises, contract extensions, and the media make such a big deal about this shite.

The odds are not good that we have already made a deal. LSU has learned some from last year though. They are taking care of business earlier.
