What about Sean Payton at LSU?

Pretty sure he's done after this year, maybe next. If he's open, do we bring him up the River?
I could deal with this.

Frosty the Sneaux-man?

Payton makes 8 million per. No way he gets anything close to that at LSU.

True.
But if he's fired, LSU would seem promising to him.
Recruiting the state: local kids grew up watching him turn the Saints into winners and win the Super Bowl.
Already a popular name in the fa base.
Runs an offense our fans desperately want.
Knows what NFL teams like in players, and teach our players how to get there.
May be worth looking into if the scenario arises.

C'mon, man. How is Payton going to translate his highly complex offense into the college game?
People seem to forget Bill Callahan at Nebraska. It was a total disaster.
Payton will have 20 hours a week to coach the team. He will not have any college QB's like Drew Brees to take 4 plays to the line and run the offense from the LOS.
Sean Payton would be a huge hire, but it's far from a given to succeed.

We'll be getting a new defensive coordinator every 3 years.
But the boys will love Greenbriar.

Payton is not a great coach. He's been shite since he threw Williams under the bus.

Program would get death penalty from annual trips to Greenbriar.

Not a bad idea lsu has plenty of pretty young girls to lure him to Baton Rouge now all we need is a few people to keep him with Vicodin at all times and it's done
