so hiring kiffin indicates this because he's been notoriously dirty at UT or because you don't think you could make this impressive of a hire if sanctions were known to be on the horizon?

No, I am saying IF USC believed sanctions (lack of inst. ctrl) were coming they would not bring in K to possibly make sanctions worse--because that would give the impression of less control, not more. They woudfl want to give the impression of better control with a less notorious coach.

sure. hire a less sought after coach at a much lower price and bring in run of the mill assistants.

right. so the first thing i said then.

BTW shortening it to K was a good first step to learning how to spell it.

Let me get this straight. if you were AD, your strategy for dealling with impending sanctions would be to hire sub-par coaches? Rrriiiiight! Not buying it.

If I were a USC fan, I'd be taking hostages. This is a disastrous staff. Just a total disaster. You can't honestly think this is a good idea.

The NCAA is going to move their offices to Watts. I can't believe Neuheisel is coaching in LA and ISN'T the biggest scumbag in town.

You are finally correct. You could actually win a debate with a wall.

I don't see how USC fans could be excited about this hire.

figured that. i was trying to get him to say that lane kiffin's such an awesome head coach and such an awesome hire that no way he would come to USC if sanctions were coming; apparently you don't get inside information leaked from reggie bush's legal team by being an COMPLETE idiot.
