One of the names UT is throwing around is John Harbaugh. How do they plan to go after him and keep Herman dangling? I think UT makes an offer for Herman and we lose out.

I still don't know what would possess someone to walk into that snake pit in Austin. This isnt the same landscape that Texas dominated most of the 20th century. To say that Texas is simply head and shoulders above everyone else today is a bit asinine. Lots of schools can offer a similar financial package (unless Texas goes nuclear and offers someone like $15M or something truly ridiculous) and ON TOP of that they have to deal with some absurd media obligations and a ridiculous amount of pressure from Boosters who are more likely than not still stuck in the mindset of it being the good ole days of the SWC.
