The more that I look at the Kiffin, Sark, Canada possibilities, the more I am convinced that the Helfrich is the perfect guy for the job. He leaned under Koetter (Az St, now NFL) and Kelley, reminds me of Aranda on the offensive side, and can come in a design a SEC-caliber spread offense that accounts for the speed and strength of SEC defenses. Remember, playing Auburn for the BCS and also us in Dallas made big impressions on the Ducks (including Phil Knight of Nike) who realized that we had the kind of athletes in our league that are different than the Pac 12. I think he is the perfect choice to come in with a blank sheet to design his system. We also wants to come here. I am weary of the Kiffin/Sark show and we need to move on.

Helfrich's OC at Oregon was Matt Lubick who was O's WR coach at Ole Miss

They were 20th of 128 in offense. Down from the other years but respectable. The Ducks problem was having won of the 3 or 4 worst defenses in college football.

And Jeff Grimes worked at ASU with Helfrich. For those who don't know, One of the most underrated relationships in a staff is a OC and Their O Line coach

I totally agree on the OC and OL synergy importance. They did some good things at Az St with Grimes as the running game coordinator and Helfrich having the passing game QB responsibilities. Walter broke John Elway's Pac 12 passing records. He would be a good hire.

Chip Kelly and Scott Frost made Helfrich's stock seem really good for years.

All I see is people saying that Chip Kelly was the one calling all the plays and Helfrich didnt do anything blah blah blah... If he was just there why the hell would one of the Oregon hire them to be their head coach

The guy is a potential get OC. The HC thing didn't work out for him. He could start now and be here for years. Sign him up!!!

Chip highly recommended him for the position. Can't give him no credit and all the blame for the slide this year. Do you remember his coached team put up 59 on Jimbo's FSU team in the Rose Bowl a few years ago.

----------------------------------------------------I haven't seen a single link to support this.

This is self made propaganda from The Rant and others are believing what Tigerdroppings posters say. Sounds like following political "news" shows instead of actually reading the actual platforms of the candidates.

Do your own research folks.
