Mawae would be a great addition to start in an advisory role and he would learn the coaching ropes at the same time to eventually elevate into the OL role when the time is right.

Hell go get Kiffin as OC and get Sark and keep him in an admin role at LSU in an attempt to put the ole band back together. Piss off saban in the process.

Hire a great DL coach and move Pete Jenkins into an advisory role. We could really begin building the staff and aux staff rather quickly.

Gotta find a true Special teams coach, not just a recruiter, obviously.

Also need to add to the facilities and upgrade current ones.

And hire hotter tutors.

Joe Lorig from Memphis. He completely revamped their special teams in one season. 3 kick returns for TDs after an FBS-long drought since 1996. Top 5 in kick and punt coverage. A Groza nominee kicker who kicks off out of the end zone over 90% of the time. He checks all the boxes, and coming from Memphis, he won't break the bank.

He is also an OLB coach, so he is a perfect replacement for Peveto.

And renovate the stadium concessions and bathrooms. Although This doesn't officially fall under O's responsibility, since he is "one of us" perhaps he can put together a committee to handle these important issues in an expedited manner.

You really think that's a possibility? Let's say Kiffin goes to LSU. Why would Sark turn down the OC job at UA to be an analyst at LSU?

Do I really think it's a possibility? No. but maybe in light of his personal problems he would prefer to be around his boys right now. Who knows.

I am spit balling. Maybe Miles actually will take Sark with him somewhere. As long as Bama is directly impacted I am happy.

It sounds like staying with Saban for another year or two would be the best thing for him.

The weight room was just completed. I'm assuming the ops complex locker room and other upgrades for phase 2 at the ops center are under way?

Is the nutrition center in the south end zone under way?

As far as player/recruiting centric issues, I guess adding to the sound system in Tiger Stadium and a barber shop in the ops center? What else are you thinking?

I thought the nutrition center was what they were building on the site of the old Box

Nope. They were, but decided to use empty, existing space in the south end zone. What you're referring to is the new LSU Foundation building.

The state is coming in another 300 million short again this year. This is why we kept Les last year, and hired Coach O this past weekend. No way we go out and spend some actual money on our program as long as King is running the show and we continue to have financial issues.

I know the program is independent, but I have yet to see anything leading me to believe we will actually start spending more $$ when we produce so little with the money we spend now.

You know the man I trust with complex organizational tasks? Ed O. I've always trusted him to mimic the organizational structure of one of the best college football coaches ever.

Because if LSU has proven anything this week, it's that they can just hire whomever they want
