The worst part of this is O isn't even close to being in control of this program.

Too many hands in the pot

co-oc/ qb- Steve ensminger
co-oc/wr- cale gundy
rb- Tommie Robinson
ol- James cregg
te- micky Joseph (to keep la connection)

and if not cale Gundy then tee Martin as co-oc wr

When you have two guys in charge of something, nobody is.

They can’t be held accountable.

There’s seriously no way this is going to end up with Ensminger as OC.

He hasn't been a full time OC for 20 yrs...

so yep, more than likely with this bunch of clowns leading the way

Who really knows, but I do know I'm frickin pissed at this joke of an administration

I distinctly remember the feeling of utter frustration when I learned Orgeron had been given the job.

I wish I had merely experienced "utter frustration" when Orgeron was hired.

For me, it was more along the lines of "uncontrollable rage". An Ensminger hire would certainly provoke a similar feeling.

But really...the only time he ran his own program it was a shite show. This is what the idiots citing his interim record just could not grasp. It’s a totally different ball game being the actual head man. If we’re being honest, O does not have the intellectual capacity to be that guy. He’s a great foot soldier, not a general

There is a pattern, we hear of all these major names then it ends up bein a medioce/unqualified person

With Canada getting $1.7 million the next two seasons as a buyout, isn’t the difference between that and what Canada would have been paid if he stayed $1.6 million, ie $800,000 a season? If my math is right You could pay Gilbert $700k a season and actually save money on a the OC position next season.

I am COMPLETELY SHOCKED that our leadership would pay $2.5M for the #1 DC in college football, but settle for a mediocre AT BEST OC!!!

We have great athletes, GREAT ATHLETES!!! It’s not fair to the players that work so hard and have committed so much to this university. Orgeron’s promise of “The Best” coordinators is ABSOLUTE BS!!!
LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am TOTALLY DISGUSTED with F.King and Aleva!!! I met F. King at a dinner in Los Angeles last year. He better not come back out here....HE WILL BE HUNG!!!
How do we reach out Lod Cook? I’ve met him before and I think he has influence over these nitwits!

With the current state of the program...I’d much rather spend that money elsewhere and just watch the train wreck from the TV again for free.

FIFY. We are doomed until we can boot Governor Honor Code, hope for upgrades on the BOS, and sweep FKing, Alleva and Corch 0 out the door.

I honestly don't care anymore at this point. I will be happy if we hire a competent person but if SE is hired, LSU will tumble really quickly next year and it will be very ugly

I'll save some money in the process

My opinion is that all the guys with insight sources are all over the place because LSU is tight lipped for this one. They know this is a major decision for the future of LSU football. I don't think they are dumb enough to make dumb decision on this one, all their jobs are in the shifter on this one. I even think they may leak fake news on situation to get people off the trial of where they are truly headed.
