In related news the Patriots re denying that Bill Belichick has reached an agreement in principle to be the defensive coordinator for the Gators.

I agree, I cann't see him returning to coach in college again. There was a lot of smoke around the Duck's program that he was not happy there at the end & the administrators were not happy with him. Seems he had a strong dislike for all the PR duties required of a HC in college, particularly with regards to having to suck up to the big money supporters. He pissed off a lot of people, administrators and supporters, and word like that gets around. Would be interesting, however, to see how his hurry up offense would work in the heat & humidity of the Swamp, almost all season long.

We reached out to Gruden. I don't know why UF wouldn't reach out to Kelly.
Gruden apparently wasn't the pipe dream many imagined, he was just too expensive. I suspect UF is more willing to pony up than UT's administration.

True it never hurts to ask, but at the moment the Eagles are the driver's seat for the NFC East so UF better be planning on waiting awhile. I doubt he pulls a BP.
