The real question is will Lowder allow the AD to give in.
If Lowder really wanted to do what was best for Auburn, he would resign from the board of trustees and not look back. Unfortunately all he cares about is power. Colonial BankGroup and all of the related properties (malls, etc.) have given him such a taste of control it is disgusting.

I still can't see why Tubby would want to go to Arkansas. Auburn is a very successful program. Auburn has access to Alabama, Georgia and Florida recruits while Arkansas has a very small population, and Nutt going to Ole Miss so he will own Memphis.

So he can go duck hunting with his bosses/friends and not have to be around bosses that do not like him but cannot get rid of him would be my guess.
