1) Has Tom Herman signed the new extension yet with Houston?
I've seen people indicate that he's already singed for his raise, but haven't been able to find any confirmation.

LINK

2) Is he a threat to go to the NFL or does he love college and want to continue to run his smash-smouth spread and clown people at that level?

NO, not yet. Probably waiting until after Thanksgiving week to give that $3 million/year extension a serious look compared to other open jobs in coming weeks.

Nope, NFL is not a serious threat for 2016.

No the school offered it but he said he's not talking contracts until after the season

I heard him on a radio interview Friday and the dude was very impressive. Had no clue he's a Mensa member and a MBA from UT Austin. They don't hand those out

He's a bright young star

He did run the offense that beat Saban last year in the playoffs...

Does he have some personality? I've never heard him speak before.

Nick Saban Flew In Former Ohio State Assistant Tom Herman To Ask Him How The Buckeyes Dominated The Tide

Can y'all see Miles being invited to go talk to a DC?

Will be a great hire for whoever can pull him from Houston. Only issue is I think he will be on the next plane to Austin whenever that job opens up.

Saban lost to UAB and ulm. Urban just lost to a backup qb at home. Would you not take either of those also?

Some people have a tough time reading between the lines and seeing the bigger picture.

My mom is a UH Alum and friends with some big donors. Apparently Herman is very type A and extremely meticulous. He has to have everything perfect. He also was very hands on in forcing players to go to class and to attend lifting sessions. At first it rubbed players and donors the wrong way, but now they see the results and love him.

The problem with Miles is how he loses and wins a lot it's just mind bending sometimes.
But make no mistake Miles is a great man and good coach it just seems like it's time for
a change and to move on.

I just read about Tom Herman and I am a fan already.
There are so many positives that we would be in good hands for the future. Like many at age he is building a resume; will he want to pursue the NFL
in the next several years. I like what I read.
