Tom Herman offered 3 million to stay at Houston but guess what?

He has not signed.
Now naturally a coach and agent take time to review the offer
But why do you think Houston made the offer the day before LSU played?
You may say other teams played but that is not relevant.
This will be an interesting week

LSU would be a top job along with USCw. I think we will be pulling from different geographic areas too. USCw is gonna want a west coast guy.

Austin is his dream job
If I'm him I sign the deal, make a cool 3 mil next year and go to Texas when they fire strong after 2016

Also, why do people keep saying his dream job is at Texas? Has he said this before? He's from Ohio, went to Cal Lutheran, and his only ties to Austin come from the brief amount of time he was a GA under Mack Brown at the start of his career.

Whatever his dream job is or isn't, Herman is likely smart enough to realize the finality of the LSU job.
You don't leave a program like LSU for another college football job. If Herman goes to LSU, he's at LSU until he retires (which would be ~20 years!) or he goes to the NFL.
