Am curious if former Southern Miss head coach and currently Tampa Bay Offensive Coordinator would return to college ranks. The guy is a heckuva coach. His salary at Tampa is in $800k range....

He would be great, but he left a head coaching job to become an NFL coordinator. I think that his desire is to coach at the NFL level.

Wrong, he is making over $2M at Tampa.

Should have been considered for the HC position, but we didn't have time for a search.

Yep, I was hoping to hear his name mentioned prominently among HC candidates. I wonder if Alleva even checked to gauge his interest in LSU. He coached here for Miles for one year, I believe.

Would be a homerun. Too bad he didn't even get an interview.

He wouldnt be the first guy to try the NFL and choose to return to college. He's a name to watch, if nothing else.

Normally, I'm easygoing, but this board has become overrun by unfounded rumors, incorrect facts, and cultist worship of a poster who is completely full of shite.
