I know it's been said by Orgeron that the staff will not undergo any changes until after the bowl game, but do you guys think we will see any changes before signing day?

I could see us getting a new defensive line, linebackers and special teams coach before signing day. I don't see any current staff members being let go until after signing day.

Jenkins will be on staff for next year.

Linebackers - isn't aranda the LB coach? Why would O take that responsibility away from him?

Special Teams - likely know who this sometime in January since we don't have a STC, atm, it would make sense to get him hired asap to help with any undecided recruits.

outside linebackers maybe. 3-4 defenses usually split the inside and outside lb coaching responsibilities

TBH, except for the STC position, which will be big for young recruits wanting to earn playing time by making their bones on ST, the positions of major concern are checked off.

Aranda- check.

O Canada- check.

Jenkins- check. (Will definitely be DLC one more year.

Craig as RC- check.

Contract extension for Raymond- check.

No doom and gloom here. It will work out fine. Expect a really good class considering all the changes and recent uncertainty in the program.

If they are smart they won't make anymore until after. Because if your short on number the head coach can fill in, which gives him unlimited contact to recruits. Once the dead period is over.

Technically, he didn't lie. Although he did hire a new OC before the bowl game, Canada isn't coaching in it. So, the "change" actual won't be occurring until after the bowl game. Also, Bobby April hasn't been hired as a full-time ST coach. He's just an analyst...for now. What happens after the season remains to be seen.
