Seriously? You could tell by the Winston saga what was going on there and it seemed like a pattern that has been going on there a while. I doubt much of that had anything to do with Jimbo. That had the administration and local PD written all over it. Seems to be part of the culture in Tallahassee.

I was a grad student at FSU when the insanity with Peter Warrick, Nick Childs, and Sebastian Janikowski went down in 1999. I can attest to what the culture is like there. What those guys did wasn't on the level of rape, to be sure, but EVERY effort was made by the staff, the school, law enforcement, etc to keep those idiots on the field.
When the president of the university finally put his foot down when a sweetheart deal was arranged to let them do jail time after the season, everyone in that city wanted him run out of town. He was trying to salvage the schools reputation, but the fans wanted NONE of it. My wife and I could believe how everyone there acted about it.
I'm not going to sit here and say Jimbo is blameless in all of it, because I have no idea. What I CAN tell you is that none of the allegations have surprised me based on what I saw 16 years ago, and that you can take it to the bank they what went on there went a whole lot deeper than him.
