To say Les is classless is about as dumb of a statement as I have seen on this retarded board.

Let me guess you are one of those "assclowns" who think when we win it is because of players, but when we lose it is all coaching.

Oh yeah......Saban in 2003........all these offers that you speak of...........did you confirm them? You are 100% sure that many people wanted the dictator? Maybe you are right, because it was apparent that his concentration was elsewhere by the performance against an average OU team with a handicap QB.

i thought miles was a stupid friggin' hire by bertman when he did it. i watched his oklahoma state teams blow some gigantic leads and lose games -- then he repeated it in 2005 against tennessee ... i also watched him open his stupid arse mouth and give bob stoops bulletin board material and got his arse handed to him in the bedlam game .. a feat he recreated with his "ar-kansas" bullshite ...

the "length and width of a football game" added to the "two ties equals one loss" kinda stunned me.

Our talent carried and propped up a mediocre to below average coach for three years.

If we were to hire the concensus best coach on the planet this year and win two straight titles in 08 and 09, at the end of the 09 game, I'd be thinking that guy cost us three in a row w/ simply idiotic coaching. I just can't help but feeling that way.

while under his supervision LSU has seen it's greatest years in all sports including football, baseball (while coaching), track, gymnastics, women's basketball, a couple lil bright spots with men's basketball, etc.

Skip also hired Adam Schmitt, who is completely ressurecting both men's and women's swimming and diving, FYI. And isn't the tennis team showing a lot of promise now, too? Skip is responsible for a lot LSU can be proud of...

since you're so fricking STOOOOOOPID i'll say it again for you .. les miles is CLASSLESS .. if skip bertman was not dumb enough to hire him in the first place he wouldn't even be here ... you NEVER heard his name mentioned in relation to other jobs around the country until we took him .. look how fast he took the job .. that SOB should get on his hands and knees and kiss the base of the friggin' campanile for what this school has done for him ... we have won just TWO national titles in almost 50 years and had to share one of them .. we may never in our lifetimes get a chance like this again .. it was low hanging fruit this season and the idiot pissed it away with this crap ..

nah .. it's 65% coaching, 35% players win or lose ..

do you have memory recall capability ?

the "dictator" won us a national championship and COMPLETELY and UNEQUIVOCALLY changed the landscape and perception of LSU football (i guess i shouldn't have asked you about memory recall) ... we are now -- because of the "dictator" a perennial top five program .. prior to saban, could you please tell me the last five year period in LSU football history where we a perennial top five program ?

Skip is on his way out anyway and gave all of his power to Lombardi.

Come Monday, wou all can expect to have a former coach sitting at his desk again. Like it or not, the guy got us a NC, and we will have more coming our way b/c of it.

My info says Spurrier.

But if you are right I hope Saban keeps Crowton. W/ Saban's d and Crowton's (w/o LM's interference) O, we have a bright future.

I hear that Crowton is eyeing up the our-kansas job, if he didn't already informally accept.......

specs -- i'm not a frequent visitor to the rant, but i am amazed at how blind 85% of the people in here are ... les miles was a ridiculous joke of a hire which is going to come to fruition on monday when he takes the michigan job after pissing away the national and sec titles in less than 10 days ...

i'd take saban over spurrier if there was a choice .. spurrier's offensive approach isn't as fresh as it was in the 90s .. you have high schools running the fun and gun now ... saban's defensive approach is like blue jeans .. it will never go away ..
