While most folks are very against hiring any of these folks for HC... how would you feel if we brought them in as an Offensive Coordinator?

If LSU wins more than we lose over the next 5 games (especially if we run the table), I really don't see why we wouldn't give Coach O a 2-3 year deal and settle in with him to see what he can really do without the uncertainty of his coaching future in the back of his mind.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to watch the last 2 games in entirety (fricking weddings) to fully get a gauge on Ensminger (the final scores do say a lot)... However, I did watch most of the Bama blowout Saturday -- and there is no denying Kiffin's brilliance as a play caller, even in the SEC.

Gotta assume we make some type of coaching change... just not sure it HAS to be the head coach.

Kiffin is not leaving Saban's side until he gets a big time HC gig again.

Briles wouldn't come back to be a coordinator, and as a husband to a Baylor grad, I don't want him near our program.

So he's a lock to get the HC job?

Can't finish the LSU games but watched most of Bama game. Smh.

To answer your thread:

If you're talking about Art Briles. NO. Rape...enough said.

Lane Kiffin: he won't leave oc at bama to come to lsu to be an oc. It's not gonna happen so who cares.

Not a lock in the least beat.

I'm saying if LSU really does make a run with him in the 2nd half of the season -- I don't see why he wouldn't be the man to beat when the interviews start happening. This season essentially is an interview for him, and making a run at Atlanta would certainly be a great case to make.

You don't think closed door interviews are already happening? He wouldn't be the man to be because his overall HC resume is mediocre at best. If he's the coach to beat then why didn't Syracuse hire him last year? Why did no one make him HC after his USC interim job? This whole win out and he's the best person is just silly.

Coach Ensminger as coach O's offensive coordinator is averaging 43.5 points a game and you want to replace him already? Really?

Any scenario that includes Coach O as our HC when other options are on the table is stupid.

Any thought to the level of competition in those two games?

Good god, why do people keep suggesting this absurd idea? NO coach is getting hired on with less than 4 years, because it will kill recruiting.

The next HC will decide once he's hired.

Let's just fire Aranda and make this a full staff of failed misfit coaches, since they've done well for two games.

Heck, we've already got O, Ensminger, and Peveto. Wondering if we could make room for Ron Zook and Dinardo? And we've got to save a spot for Chizik.
