Michigan is locked as saying Higher Profile jobs. I thought nobody was HIGHER PROFILE than Michigan.

Just a little pride there in MEEchigan.

Michigan may be the exception, but in general, "money" and "higher profile jobs" are categories that almost entirely overlap.

there are only and handful of jobs in college football that would draw a HC away for more than just money. MEEEEchigan happens to be one of those historic programs....but I'm sure RR ( or his wife) will not have a problem spending his new found extra cash...

Maybe so. But as I was walking down South State Street in Ann Arbor the other night, with the wind howling and driving a 15 degree ambient temperature well into the minus numbers for wind chill factor, and thinking, based on the years I spent there a few decades ago, that it would be sometime in April before it gets tolerable again, I figured that it would take a lot of "tradition" and even more money to get me to live there year-round.

I'm going to have to raise my estimate on the average I.Q. of Louisianians after those results.

Really...
and you're basing this statement on what?
When is the last time (if ever)...
Michigan hired a football HC that took a pay cut to go to Michigan?

Right or wrong, UM paid RichRod 2.5M, Alabama threw 4M at Saban. I'd say they are coaches of equal ability at programs that have similar history...then again, Alabama has been useless since the 80s or so.

1 NC in the 90s atleast 2 sec champions. Not elite but certainly not useless.

Of all of the states I checked, Louisiana had the highest % voting for $$$. Do you think we had anyone particular in mind?

Yeah, that bastard Little Nicky couldn't help but take the paycut from his job in Miami. It was ALL about the money.
