Honestly, With Chavis as DC. the defensive recruits from the last two classes, as well as Freak,****, *****. With our wide recievers, RB's, Strong Special teams, & Sr QB & Mett.

OC---is who we need to recruit the strongest! (also Studwa could go too)

Leach was feared at TT, by the whole Big 12. Which is an offensive conference only. But again he had one of if not the best offenses in that conference.

I say let the dice roll bring him in. Can't be ANY worse. And hell with our defense actually getting to rest with drives that are longer than 3 plays, they could be more dominating than they are with a little help from the offense. Using all player ala Sean Payton. This could get stupid at LSU. One way or another!!

LSUHOOHOO,
Why even respond to TheFranchise. It's apparent he does not follow college football closely or know anything about Leach as an OC. Why was Leach Stoops OC? Stoops said it was because when he took the OU job he decided to get the OC who he was most afraid of defending while at Florida. You forgot to mention the most important similarity between Les and Leach is that they get most of their players to graduate.

Leach would be a bad choice for multiple reasons.

ETA: But I do agree that Crowton must go, and I believe he will.

Leach would be the absolute best scenario for LSU football. I would covet no other coaching staff if he came aboard.

There is no doubt Leach would improve the O

Course that's not saying much considering how bad the LSU O has been

The thing about running a leach-style offense is that you need a defensive style that will match it. You can wear your defense flat out by running an offense with that style. I don't know if we have that style defense.
