In 07 he came out and remained steadfast in saying Les Miles was not going to UM, or even talking to them for that matter. It seems different this time. Not that I think he's gone, but it seems as though Miles is being real quiet about this.

You really think that because he is not posting that this is some kind of sign?

maybe can't post cause he's getting ready for the Cotton Bowl

I have no clue

But I do think it's done at LSU for Les. Not mad, it's his alma mater, very concerned about who may get the LSU gig though, not liking the names Ive heard

Not a sign that he is leaving but a sign that Miles isn't really telling people in the athletic department what he's thinking...which is sketchy.

Still think there's only a slight possibility, but it seems obvious there is some interest.

My personal theory is that he is fielding calls, but keeping it quiet so nobody jumps the gun just in case he decides to stay or Michigan goes in a different direction.

The timing is not right for Miles to go to Michigan. The 2 best coaches Michigan can bring in don't want to go there. That should tell you something about how bad the politics are at Michigan right now. They are starting to remind me of Bama before Saban.

BP posted 15 times on November 30 on the topic of the LSU offensive coordinator "situation", and has been completely silent since then. While I might agree with a policy of not responding to every poster attempting to "fetch" him or page him (I paged LSUMatt once.....once), but I tend to agree with your emotional reaction that something is different.

Maybe he's tired of Rantards calling him a liar, a boaster or whatever. It is more likely that he either doesn't have access to the same information sources or those sources are more tight-lipped right now. Also, depending on his position, maybe he decided not to risk it by offering information on this forum (and get called a liar or worse for his trouble).

But, again, different this time...

It's different because we are playing in the fricking cotton bowl when we should have been making the Suger Bowl a prettier place for nationwide viewers last night.

I think you're somewhat correct. But not that he/she doesnt have "access" but rather there's nothing to report - or more to the point, the persons he/she is involved with aren't saying much b/c there's nothing to say.

with the bowl coming up in 72 hours, it wouldn't surprise me if there's not alot of chatter internally just yet
