I'm not defending him, I am defending the hire. At this point, what coach is going to touch the whole Penn State debacle right now. Best case, it is a stop over for a few guys. To get Roof isn't a bad hire for them.

this guy is the worth Defensive Coordinator in Auburns history.
He broke records for worst defense in 2009, then broke it again in 2010. he was set to break it in 2011 before he left.
Penn State much have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to hire him.

Yeah I have some buddies up in Philadelphia that went to PSU and they are absolutely stoked about getting an SEC/National Champion defensive coordinator.
