If you knew anything you'd know the bind USF was in when Skip Holtz was fired. Skip left them with a garbage roster. Look it up. Taggart is just getting that ship righted. Taggart is going to be a great head coach at a bigger university soon or in the NFL.

Since that was literally his first game at USF you're lending credence to the theory that he's turning it around.

Give Taggart at least one more year at USF. If he's the real deal, next year will be when it shows. For the record, I thought he was a great hire for USF and will be a great hire for whoever is next.

I think Taggart is a good coach, but it would be uninspiring to a fan base to hire a coach with that overall record. Chizik was 5-19 and won a NC, so my opinion is invalid.

A few weeks ago it seem like people in Florida thought he would be fired at the end of the season. He hasn't done enough at USF to get a better job. He is closer to being on a hot seat.

Yeah, pretty sure they all wanted him fired last year.

Mainly because no one is going to take a guy named Willie seriously at anything, let alone coaching a major college football program.

USF Alum and season ticket holder here.

Taggart has done a solid job. Recruiting has gotten better because he has roots in the area.

Skip Holtz left a dumpster fire for him and we've got some ongoing personnel issues too. Two players arrested for firing a handgun on campus in recent weeks.

I'm reserving judgment on Taggart for a while. The team has exceeded expectations this year, but the question remains are the victories the result of playing in the miserable conference that is the AAC or is USF truly back?

I think we'll know the answer next season...
