We just want Herman, our fans are retarded though, it's a no brainier that Texas will get him if Strong is fired. It's Jimbo or bust now.

People talking about how liberal Austin is and how it would impact Strong's future have no idea what they are talking about Texas boosters are all old rich white lawyers, bankers and energy executives. They don't give a single frick about race relations and the optics of firing him

And they're the reason Texas has become a cancerous place for any coach.

I wouldn't want to coach at Texas if they're breathing down my neck like Texas does. They're only prolonging their mediocrity by firing and hiring coaches. If they fire strong, right after a top 10 class, they can look at another two years potentially of lost recruiting before they can recover.

But at 9-4, I think so for sure

Not a chance. He just pulled in his best class at Texas and was showing a lot of momentum going into this season. True freshman QB, new offense, they just need to figure out the defense, let the talent grow up a little and that's a recipe for a big season.

Herman will choose UT because he loves the state of Texas
...I keep seeing this. Where did this come from? Is he from Texas? Can someone provide a link to substantiate?

He started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Texas, and he's coached in Texas most of his career, at Rice, UH, Texas, Sam Houston State, Texas state, Texas Lutheran, and now Houston.

He is not leaving the state of Texas to come to Louisiana. End of story. Strong will be out soon, Houston will match any LSU offer, and Herman will be at Texas when Strong is finally out.
