can't see him going though. Pretty sure this is where his family has wanted to be for a while now.

heres his write up

quote:

Steve Ensminger
Ties that Bind: He was the UGA quarterbacks coach while Muschamp was on the team and part of the Auburn staff together
Currently: Tight ends coach at LSU
Possibly: Quarterback or tight end coach
The Skinny: He's coached quarterbacks, tight ends, been a passing game coordinator and an offensive coordinator. He's the type of experienced assistant that a young defensive minded coach might like to have around on the offensive side of the ball.

He can go, he doesn't bring anything recruiting wise and offense has passed him by - he was only here to see his son play high school ball

He's the only coach on the staff who knew what was going on during one of our screwed up clock management gaffes this year. I can't even remember the game. It just all runs together for me now. But, he was telling the QB to call timeout or clock the ball or something to keep us from screwing up even worse. He had to do it kind of secretively, too.

Heck, any coach who knows what is going on on the sideline needs to be kept. We have enough that don't.

It was the Auburn game right before the 4th down play at end of game. RS was running around not knowing where to line up and he was signaling for a TO.

Just chiming in to say that Ensminger is going to be worthless wherever he ends up. Truly is amazing he is considered for positions on SEC squads.

Ross you don't know what you are talking about!

Ensminger has righted the ship at LSU. He ignited fire in Ridley's, our defense's, and PP's arse all year . He is the reason we did as well as we did this year. if Fl gets him LSU will fall apart and so will our recruiting class.

To replace Ensminger we should hire some young guy who just flamed out of the NFL but has ties to the south (specifically Texas) and would be an energetic recruiter. And also that owns a watch, so he could take over the role that has been vacant since Josh Henson left.

Derek Lewis, who, I think is job hunting with the Minnesota staff getting canned... would seem to be a great choice for TE coach... from Louisiana, excellent Texas recruiter.

This is a good point. Muschamp would be smart to bring in some guys who have a lot of experience...even head coaching experience.

I don't know if Ensminger is the right guy, but Muschamp could use some help in his early years.

Has ben wilkerson finished grad school or finished whatever the requirements are to become a full time coach? Te coach is pretty much an entry level job and big ben is a prime entry level guy if he is able to start full time. I think he would be a great choice to put on east Texas recruiting.
