Kiffin is not going to be at Alabama in 2017 (or maybe even in mid-December). However, his #1 goal is to get a head coaching job right now. If he gets one, he is not going to LSU. If he can't find one, he's going to LSU. That's really where things stand right now.

Then what happens with the Tua/Brennan situation?

Tua to Bama and Brennan to OK St. That would be LSU's luck.

I think Miles would be a great hire for Houston. Especially if he hires Kiffen as his OC there.

JK about the Kiffen OC.

Tua goes to Alabama, I think that's pretty clear at this point (and has been for about a year - regardless of Kiffin).

I have no idea about Brennan, have to talk to LSU folks there. Sounds like O wants QB's of a different type of skillset anyway.

Tua is enrolling at Alabama. For that to change, he'd need to visit LSU quickly. His official to Alabama is December 8. The dead period is shortly after that. He enrolls the second week of January.

I don't want Kiffin to be here 1 year then bolt. Surely we can get someone else that plans to stay a few years and build an offense with a couple/few recruiting classes.

going from a shotgun , QB controlled quick strike offense to a slow, methodical offense that bleeds the play clock every chance it gets.

that's what you call a shift in culture

So they've got 2 weeks to flip this kid whose pretty much a Solid Verbal meanwhile you alienated your top prospect. Ugh this is bad

Yea - not sure that's going to be a big hit in Texas.

I'm not up to speed on all the LSU stuff, but it sounds to me that O made it clear they are moving away from QB's with a skillset like Brennan's. So, it kind of sounds like regardless of Tua or any other QBs that Brennan doesn't really fit what they want to do now anyway.

Les Miles is the GOAT troll, I am going to laugh when he comes out next year in a hurry up, no huddle air raid.

I don't think anyone claimed it was groundbreaking.

Houston bigs did say they're able to pay whatever is needed. I'd love to see how Les pans out somewhere else.

Less than 2 weeks, really. You've got a few days. He's not flipping to LSU having never been on campus, and if you don't get him there this weekend then you wont get him before the dead period b/c he's at Bama next weekend (and he's an EE, so he'll be at Bama by the time the dead period ends).
