So, Orgeron had no plan? Except words, I mean.

Said we would get Kiffin. We won't.
Needs a big time OC hire, but has no one lined up. We have to wait till after bowl game because he doesn't know what to do and has to figure it out now.
Offered Tua - who said no.
Lost a couple of big recruits.
Almost lost Myles Brennan - still might.
Now, posters on the Rant are asking, "Why not Ensminger?"
Is this all real?
We hired ED ORGERON so he could try and figure out what to do? He does not know and needs a month or more to figure out who the new OC is now that Kiffin fell through.
Needs a big time OC hire, but has no one lined up. We have to wait till after bowl game because he doesn't know what to do and has to figure it out now.

I got on TD to stay informed on LSU sports information. The whiny, negative jackarse comments that are posted ad nauseum are unbearable. Some of these people must love to live in complete misery......do some of you ever step back and even try to be positive about anything?

But, it was widely reported that Kiffin was likely coming. Who looked that? Where is that from? C'mon. You know how this works.
You think Alleva hired Orgeron with him saying, "I have no idea who I will get for OC, but I hope to let you know in 6 weeks"?
None of this makes any sense at all now. If O had a top OC lined up it might have made sense. Now? None.

I get the frustration over the coaching "search", but can we atleast see who O hires for OC and ST and how the recruiting class looks on signing day before we freak out?

Why not shut down all the Kiffin speculation then?
I actually believed he had a top OC lined up and would bring him in. We don't have an OC. We have an old TEs coach calling plays. Forgive me for expecting some level of competence.
I actually tried to make the best of this and I see one misstep after another.
So, okay. Fine. I'm the one full of shite because I believed that Orgeron was signaling Kiffin in his interview and negotiations. My bad. Apparently, it is more accurate to believe that he went in with Alleva and said, "I have no idea who I'll get for OC, but he'll be someone good. Let you know in January," and that was sufficient to get the job.
That boggles the mind, but it is the only answer we are left with if the Kiffin speculation wasn't coming from Orgeron's camp. I actually thought it was.
