Yea, coaches take over bad programs and sometimes it takes a while to build it up.

Kitten has a strange charisma. Also he is in a certain inner circle very valuable in CFB. He’d be an asset. I believe it would be him. No inside info. Just years watching the tea leaves move around. The seem to imply LSU as the stop. Just a hunch.

I'm talking post rehab kiffen. Everyone acts like he was amazing at fau. Never lost less than 3 and had losing season the 2nd year.

The appeal of Lane Kiffin is someone who excites a fan base and program and isn't a bitch.

I've recently gotten into the Aranda w/ Top OC option.

But, if you want to know why Kiffin is appealing to some, there is your answer

Won the conference 2 of 3 years after they hadn’t won more than 3 games in like 5 years.

It was a shithole program and he won the conference in year one.

What’s not to like about Kiffin?
We would have an amazing offense with him at the helm.
He would recruit great, especially with QBs.
He would trolloloolol Saban

What did Orgeron do to merit being LSU's coach?

Is that relevant?

Kiffin brings the mouth and drama of a spurrier, without the resume.

That’s often actually not a good thing.

I think he just likes to prowl for young but legal women. As long as they’re not university employees it shouldn’t matter, even you personally find it a little off putting.

As for his offense, I do worry about his prioritization of ball security. I can’t help but think back to our game last year when he kept letting Corrall air it out and throw pick after pick and didn’t even try Plumlee who had eviscerated us the year before.

ETA: although I just looked and they've only committed 4 turnovers all year so far which is elite.

Our coaches have been the laughing stock of college football got the last 15 years. Why don’t we try getting a coach that doesn’t act like an idiot this time.

I get what youre saying. However, those two idiots that were the laughing stock of cfb, each won a national championship at LSU. I care about LSUs coach winning cfb titles; not winning the public speaking/best interviewee award. Just win baby.

Longevity. You don't have to worry about him jumping ship to the NFL or another program because he's done that already and failed. It seems as if he has learned a little from those mistake and would not piss away the opportunity to coach at a big time program again.

Imagine what he could do with the LSU resources and a real defensive coordinator.
